Hey Eden, sorry its taken so long to reply. No, It is not one soild piece there are seams on the side. It could be done as one solid piece, but transporting would be a nightmare as would the cost. The front is one piece and the sides are one piece. If your interested in something like this for your fireplace i would be happy to talk with you about it. Our website is www.burcollc.com
