Repurposed Screen Door Project for the Porch

Easy
I used another of my screen doors as a divider on the porch. After washing and scrubbing, I ripped off the old screen and wire, then painted with exterior satin paint in black. I cut the screen off an existing door I was not using, then stapled to the back of this one and finished by attaching wood strips with screws. Hinges are screwed right to the side of the house with an L-bracket attached to the floor so it won't swing.
Old screen door
First I scrubbed with soap and water, then ripped off all the old wire and screen, then pulled out all the old nails.
Painted three coats of black satin exterior paint, then attached with staple gun screen from an un-used screen door
Ready to hang with the original hinges just attached to the side of the house.
