How to stencil curtains (learn from my mistakes)

$30
2 Days
Easy
I just finished a thrifty curtain project that only looks good through squinted eyes. Visit my blog post for the deets on what I did wrong so you don't make the same mistakes!
These Ballard Designs curtains were my inspiration.
I started with 4 panels that I bought for $24 total. Steal!
Here are the panels laid out ready to paint.
I used acrylic paint for the stenciling.
I used textile medium and stencils from the Martha Stewart Crafts collection.
Here is when things started to go horribly wrong.
The end result only looks good through squinted eyes.

Dear Living Rich on less, I, myself do not see where you have made mistakes on your stencils. Even if you did, that makes them even more '' Chic''. I think you did a really good job and you now have curtains that one one else has!! Don't beat your self up!
