White and Neglected Craigslist Dresser Turned Green Beauty

Melody
by Melody
I transformed this once neglected white dresser I found on Craigslist into a gorgeous addition to my home. This was the first time I used a home made chalk paint recipe (Nowhere near as great as Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan). The paint color is called Happy Camper by Behr and the depth of color was achieved by using Annie Sloan dark soft wax.

I've been looking at what seems like thousands of samples of green paint. I hope this looks as awesome in person, as it does on my computer. I am so borrowing this idea and color scheme!

Lisa, the color is great, but this also has a dark wax over top. So you might want to either add some dark wax or a glaze if you want to deepen the color a bit.

Wow, for a first time attempt this is excellent! Good job.
