DIY Wooden Patriotic "Firecrackers"

These fun and colorful (and safe!) wooden firecrackers can be made in 7 easy steps, cost less than $5 to make and are a great addition to your summer table or mantle.
Glue 3 wooden blocks together, paint, add patriotic craft paper, and a kids' sparkler for easy, frugal, and fun patriotic summer decor! Would look great on a 4th of July table.

30 minutes and 7 steps make these fireworks from 3 wooden cubes and a kids' sparkler.
Start with unfinished wood blocks (99 cents ea at craft store)
Add hot glue to 2 to create a tower.
Paint with either spray paint or craft paint.
Crafty scissors give an "aged" edge.
Sparklers from the kids craft section add a fun finish.
Mod podge the sides to the blocks.
