Should I Give up the Spray Paint Cans to My Children?

New house, pool, pond, lots to landscape and then indoors- so when I found a mound with a dead tree- I spray painted it- planted some coordinating mums and added a bit of 'art.' My kids (young adults) said- "Mom give up the spray paint- you've lost your mind!" I kinda like it! Anybody agree?
