Something for Nothing ~ Raised Bed Update

Barb Rosen
by Barb Rosen
In mid-April, I built two raised garden beds from shutters discarded by our neighbors. Seeded, planted and thriving, we are now enjoying homegrown salads and greens and looking forward to fresh veggies soon. But something was missing : plant markers. Problem solved when I found and repurposed a bag of yard sale table markers that had been used in a wedding!

Thanks, @Leena Milligan-Lanteigne ! We have had lots of rain lately and everything is super lush right now!

Love these raised beds! I'm wanting to do some myself & these are great. Saw some made with re-purposed garage door panels too. Thinking of punching a few holes in the bottom of a kids 4' rigid plastic wading pool & planting my strawberries in it.
