I wanted to utilize a old vintage Uncle Ben's Rice tin can I was given. Completely fell in love with the beautiful art nouveau looking motif this tin has on it!

What about rust from the can? Over the next few weeks when you water your plants , the cans will start rusting and the surface where the cans will be sitting. I love to hear what you suggest. I have lots of cans I could put to use...

I used to be able to save things like mixed nut containers.I would then find remnants of wall paper borders at thrift stores and cover them. I used them for cookie packages for gifts or bake sales.
