How to make chalkboard out of wooden picture frame
Material we need: wooden picture frame (with wooden back board), acrilic paint, chalkboard paint, brushes, some sand paper in case you need to sand some wooden parts to make them smooth.
First we paint the frame. If you like, you could put some primer, but I didn't need it in this project.
For the next step you will need some brown and black acrilic paints, one overused old brush and a cloth.
This technique is called "dry brush". You take little bit of paint on brush.
After that you wipe it on cloth.
And then paint over the other color ( when it's dry). Paint it slowly and gently little bit here and there to make the frame look like it's aged.
Paint the backboard with chalkboard paint a few layers and leave it to dry.

My finished chalkboard says: "Happy Easter" 'cause it was a part of my Easter decor, but you can write whatever you need and what you like.

Love pastels!
