Powder Room Redo

We had an awkward window in our powder room with the screened porch on the other side of the window. I thought it would have been strange to have curtains in there because it really wasn't an outside window, since the previous owners had added the porch and it felt strange, as if people might be able to see you while in the bathroom. We found a pile of shutters on the side of the road, painted and distressed them and covered the window. The old vanity was typical 80's builder white with brass faucets so we took an old dresser and turned it into a sink with blue and white ceramic knobs and tile behind. Added little touches, like the doorknob, old vintage mirror and lights, vacation island pictures and paintings, and painted tissue box. Much better than before! Trying to decide what color to paint the remaining walls.

oh my love the shutters! just love all of it turned out just gorgeous! you have so many lovely touches of that subtle teal blue colour! Why not do a watered down version on the remaining walls? I love the room!
