Abandoned Hutch Top Turned Curio

Pieces of Time East

She was so ornate and left behind....and I could see her regal potential!
I brought her to my warehouse and went to work on my vision!
Picked out some new legs and a mounting bracket.....
Had the hubby install the legs while I scrubbed her down with a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water.
All clean and sporting her new shoes. Ready for a new look. I chose Kristi Kuehl Pure Home Paints "Derby" and decided to keep some of the beautiful original wood.
2 coats of Derby, and now I am ready for some slight distressing to tie in the exposed wood on the doors, then one coat of Ebony Protective Glaze, and she is ready for the floor!
One GREAT vintage upcycle...and she is a STUNNER♡

Love love this piece. However, keeping the scrolled top, limits who will buy this cabinet. I would have removed that part for more simpler lines, that would go in anyone's house. Just my opinion. Your choices of colors were beautiful
