Spice up a plain mirror with some natural slices of agate. You can use the color of your choice to match any room!
SUPPLIES:

-1/4" 23 Gauge Hardware Cloth (found in the chicken wire section of the hardware store)

-Loose Mirror in the size of your choice

-A plate hanger

-Loose Geode pendants

-Floral Wire

-Hot Glue

-Wire Cutters

*Cost includes the entire roll of hardware cloth and floral wire though you barely use any of it. This means you have it for future projects! And also means the mirror technically costs a whole lot less!
STEP 1: Place your mirror and geodes on top of the hardware cloth and mark around it with a sharpie marker.
STEP 2: Using your wire cutters or a good pair of scissors cut the wire in the shape you marked out.
STEP 3: Grab your plate hanger and wrap it around the hardware cloth and the mirror securing the mirror in place. Be sure to place it where you had originally traced it to be on the hardware cloth.
STEP 4: Bend under all the poking wire
STEP 5: Rearrange your geodes so you know where to secure them. Send wire through the drilled hole and twist around the hardware cloth attaching the geode.
STEP 6: Once all your geodes are wired to the hardware cloth you must secure them in place with a dab of hot glue underneath each piece.
STEP 7: Bend any visible wire from around the border under the geodes and mirror so it can't be seen.
STEP 8: Hang it where you please and enjoy! * You can of course add geodes the entire way around or extend it as far as you please from the mirror.

I have very plain mirrors hanging in our bathrooms (wish I had chosen nicer ones for this otherwise pretty remodel!) Can I just epoxy geodesic onto them without having to take them down?

I have never heard of geodes, please explain?
