DIY Kiddo Grocery Store

So it is only the basement, and the cement floor part of the basement where we house the water treatment system. ...but I thought that the space had more to offer! Don't you think it is the perfect setup for a kiddo grocery store???
A little OOPS paint, some generous donations of food, carts and money from the grandparents, upcycled slats from a bunk bed frame and some basic accessories make the space special!

BE KIND -- this space took a lot of work! ;)

Tegma on Jun 26, 2013Love it & bet the kids do, too! I'd put some fresh fruits and other things which are good for snacks, and with some change, let the kids actually "buy" their choices from each other, teaching them about coin money. (The kids have to leave the change in the till to use repeatedly.)
