Cottage Garden Flowers

My cottage garden flowers are putting on quite a show right now that I’m trying to enjoy as much as possible because I know the dry days of August and September are not far away!
Some of my favorite, easy care flowers that add to a cottage garden look are:1. Roses (of course!)2. Daylilies3. Hydrangeas4. Hebe (dry shade even!)5. Clematis6. Fleabane7. Rose Campion8. Hardy Geranium
What are your favorites that I could add to my cottage garden?
A border in bloom with roses, clematis, daylilies, and rose campion with evergreens as structure.
'Windemere' old fashioned rose.
Freshly trimmed front border with hydrangeas, spirea, fleabane, a mystery purple blooming bulb and more daylilies.
My favorite dry shade plant- Hebe (these are lovely purple blooms)
Delightful mix of 'Fairy' rose and a purple hardy geranium.
A David Austin rose that I've lost the name of, darn!
