Crafting your own Succulent Terrarium garden is easy and fun. It makes a great family weekend project too - My Son and I recently made one. In this post, I'm sharing with you the pictures and instructions to create your own mini garden.
DIY Succulent Terrarium garden
What you need:

1. Clear glass container

2. Rocks (tiny ones, depending on the size of container)

3. Charcoal (to filter the water and help prevent growth of fungi)

4. Potting Soil

5. Succulents (that aren't going to grow too big for the container)

Optional:

- Sand or Moss

- Pebbles

- Fun decor (decorative pebbles, shells, pine cones)
A layer of rocks at the bottom.
Start with a layer of rocks at the bottom of your container. These will help the soil drainage, so the roots of your plants won't get water-logged.

We used tiny rocks suitable for the small container.
Add a layer of charcoal
Add a layer of charcoal. Charcoal helps to filter the water and prevent growth of fungi.
Add potting soil and plant the succulents
Now layer the container with potting soil and plant the succulents. Arrange them to look nice. Pat down the soil so they don't get uprooted easily.

Add a layer of fine sand or moss and embellish with decorative pebbles, shells, or fun decor to make your terrarium look like a little garden world.

Water the plants just adequately and place your terrarium garden in indirect light.
