  • Looks nice! You rarely see early 1900 clawfoots in that good of shape. The faucet look would be more fitting if you go back to the elephant trunk style.

      @Alone Eagle Remodeling, LLC. -- If you come across an old one in rough shape, there are actually a lot of bathtub refinishers out there that can make them look new brand again. So, you don't really have to give up anything if you have an old one you really want to keep.
  • Thanks @Classic Clawfoot Tubs, we do have a refinisher on staff but here in PA there's been plenty of times where a tub is damaged too much to refinish. The water here is very acidic in many areas which erodes the finish to a point where repairing the surface will create more problems than worth.
