Summer vignettes tend to include coastal elements. You too can create a summery tray vignette that includes these super easy mini sea urchin vases perfect for faux succulents or for real air plants!
Simply purchase a box of sea urchin vase filler. I purchased mine from Target, but you can find some similar ones on Amazon here. (affiliate link). Spray paint with metallic silver paint and let dry according to paint directions.
After the spray paint has dried, insert your faux succulents or air plants.
Add an eclectic mix of decor to accent your new succulent vases. Use a tray in a great metallic color like copper or gold to mix metals. Add a natural element with wooden candlesticks and florals.
I love to incorporate a mix of items in vignettes like chinoiserie pieces. Use ginger jars or chinoiserie tea cups filled with summer themed filler. You can include drift wood, shells, starfish and air plants for a beautiful eclectic mix.
Give your vignette some height using books within the tray. This will also help balance your overall vignette. For more tips on decorating with eclectic style, check out my website and subscribe for great tips, DIY projects, and insider freebies.
