MY PROVIDENCE STEPPING STONES

Zee
by Zee
Years ago I decided to make my own stepping stones. I collect old keys and clock parts ( along with many other funky things) and thought I would incorporate these little treasures into my stones. I uncovered these remaining stones when I cleaned out a flower bed recently. I still love them and am thinking of making some new ones. I have a "time" theme going on in some of my gardens. Little sayings written on other stepping stones, on chair seats and signs on my porches. With all the "re-purposing" happening in the creative world today, I am sure you will think of ways to make your own unique steppers. If you look closely, you will see a penny. I always included a penny in my stones, not for "luck" but as a sign of providence, blessing and Grace. I have made many other steppers from all sorts of funky objects. They are fun to make and I just know you will have a grand time finding your own treasures to seal in your steps of time.
Time worn steps of time.
Time is the key.

This is such a neat idea, Zee! I could work with my grand girls to collect special items to embed in the stepping stones. Thanks!
