How to Fold Plastic Shopping Bags to Take Up Less Space

by Organized 31
Lay the bag out on a flat surface. Line up the sides of the bag and smooth out any big wrinkles.
Fold the bag in thirds .
Starting from the end without the handles, fold the corner up to make a triangle.
Fold the triangle over and then flip it up the entire length of the bag. (it's the same technique you learn in scouting for folding a flag)
Tuck the ends of the handles into the open edge of the last triangle you folded.
You end up with a compact and neatly folded triangle (football). You'll be surprised how much less room your plastic bags will take up when folded this way.
