Living Room Makeover Without Paint or New Furniture
My mom wanted me to give her living room a makeover, but she didn't want to paint her walls or buy new furniture. I agreed to try to makeover her room following those guidelines. I picked out a rug for her to buy that matched her couches, and that became the inspiration for the "new" room. Many DIY projects later, my mom now has a living room that she loves.

The rug, pillows, and throw help the couches blend into the room.
My dad and I built this table, and I refurbished the lamps that were originally made by my grandmother in the 70's.
