Marie’s Stained Glass Garden Spinner

his Spring, Marie Wirth stunned us all with the fabulous bicycle wheel spinner she made for her garden. In fact, she posted a photo on our Facebook page and walked away with first place in our Flea Market Gardening ‘Upcycled Spring!’ Contest. Now, we would all like to know how she created it.
Find your bike wheel and make a pattern for the spaces. Cut the glass to shape
Fit the pieces and solder together with copper foil
Marie mounted this in the garden using the bike forks themselves

How do you foil the bicycle rim itself at the bottom, do you cut your foil and lay the foil onto the rim, as you can't wrap it around anything, or do you do nothing? and then just solder the stained glass foil?
