We were invited to a friend's bonfire and this door was destined to be burned. I asked if I could have it, with no idea what I would make with it. After looking at it for several days, I thought it would make a great planter.
old and dirty
I started by removing the hardware and cracked Plexiglas, and cleaning it with Dawn dishwashing liquid and a water rinse.

I spray painted the door with Island Splash spray paint

Added some decorative metal trim

I added strung acrylic beads and antique looking hardware.
I added a planter and plants.
Now it's a hanging planter to compliment the Fairy Garden.
