Here's my trio of Aloe Polyphylla I'm preparing to transplant. I'm so nervous....they are so hard to grow and slow growing. I've been babying them and really don't want to loose them. Guess I'd better cowgirl up and do it.....wish me luck
Here's my babies I need to transplant.
Here's one close up showing the spiral just beginning to show up
Here's what I hope to achieve with mine.

Thanks very much for the link, Frankie. It is interesting to learn how they have become endangered as a specimen. I love my aloes and succulents, and have devoted a section of my garden to them, but I do not have this particular variety. My advantage is, of course, living in an environment in which aloes and succulents flourish - your conditions are a lot more challenging, so I really do wish you well with your plants. It is great that you have such excellent advice available, that is always invaluable.

Have you thought just cutting the old pots off make sure you have completely cut the old from around the plants. You will need to have the new pots ready so all you have to do is very carefully move them into new pots. I know can do it. Good luck Char B YELM,WA
