A Garden Lost for the Season.

A very sad day for me last week, we had a bad hail storm and I lost my whole garden.
those are my basil, sage and chives.
Pole beans, peppers and lettuce. Corn in the back ground.
Sweet corn. The hops in the back ground didn't do so bad.
Just another view.
Our vineyard in under water, thank goodness I left grow tubes on, saved the bottom of the plants.

This has been a challenging summer for many of us, but there's comfort in nature's way of renewal. I wish you the best.

When we are given such obstacles we persevere. Mother nature has a funny way of teaching us how to be creative and adapt to her sense of humor. I do have little plants that are trying to grow, but don't think there is enough growing season to produce fruits of labor. Next year with great ideas in the back of my head.
