Make Your Own New Plant

Hybridizing is serious business but it can also be just plain fun. Daylilies are the perfect perennial to mess around with. From round, fat seed pods (crosses the bees made for you) that dry on the scape giving you shiny hard black seeds that can be started indoors very easily. No special equipment required. Later planted into the garden and left to grow. In 2 to 3 seasons your new plant will bloom and you will have created a one of a kind.
