A Quick & Easy Bathroom Project

I brought home a thrift store shelf intending to use it somewhere in my gardens. I couldn't find the right spot for it out there, so I brought it inside and found a new home for it in my bathroom commode "closet". I wanted it to be more than just a shelf for needful things so I went shopping in the garage and all over the house and came up with a few things to add a little "pretty". Then I noticed that the wall grouping looked a bit "blah", so I went shopping for some black grosgrain ribbon and a wall quote. I simply stapled the ribbon to the backs of the prints which made hanging much easier.
A before photo. This was a fun low cost project that took only a few hours.
My project began with the thrift store shelf.
I love my fern plaques and how the black ribbon draws the eye to them. The cute little wall quote was only 97 cents at Wal Mart.
