I purchased this plant last year sweet Joe-pye weed did not think much of it but this year came back beautifully

I love Joe Pye. It is a great plant for bees, and adding a tall focal point to the gardening. And I do mean tall. When I had it in my New York garden it easily grew to 9 feet each year.

I agreed with you Douglas this one is about 8 feet tall this year I assumed it will grow even bigger next year.
