    hello. tyvm. I still do not know the name of this pretty butterfly/moth. wud be very nice to know the name.
  • I think it is a leopard moth. They are found in the south. I just googled that and found this: The Giant Leopard Moth or Eyed Tiger Moth is a moth of the family Arctiidae. It is distributed throughout the Southern and Eastern United States from New England to Mexico.
