My Butterfly Garden.

When I garden I all keep in mind of plant that will attract butterflies and honeybees. I read recently that Butterflies are actually declining due to habitat loss. I found Monarch Watch who supports the building of Monarch Waystations.
So many It is hard to get them in 1 picture.

    I am beginning to expand mybutterfly garden, to include my whole front yard! I am adding some Japanese Maples, which I wasgiven. I need help in picking a spot for these beautiful plants. I have not yet determined there species. Any input would be great.

      @Phil Bauman Actually, I think Bloodgood will reach 20 feet. It's often listed among the more sun-tolerant of Japanese maples, but will require more water where it isn't protected by some shade.

    Douglas, Thank you, that will change things. I will have to relook at where I like to place these trees.
