A Painted Floor Cloth

Easy
I love the punch of color that I got with this simple and inexpensive floor cloth. So easy to do! I like that I can hose it off and if I want, I can paint over it next year and change the color scheme! Check out my blog for full details!
I picked up a floor cloth from the hardware store.
I decided to go with a wide stripe of color
Before painting the color, I treated the floor cloth with a polyurethane spray.
My glue gun came in handy for hemming the edge.
The finished product!

Carolyn, how do manage the wrinkling of the drop cloth rug? It seems like it would always be shifting where there is no furniture holding down. I am in need of a patio rug in burgundy, so I love this idea.
