I painted a geometric line pattern across the fronts the drawer section of my new modular closet organizer
I wanted a perfect accent piece to my open closet I was installing - a closet organizer I found at ModularClosets.com online. You can choose the pieces you want- hanging, shelves, drawers, etc- and the pieces arrive in easy-to-assemble kits.
I ordered my all plywood Modular Closet kit, with drawers included. Here's my 24" wide x 36" high x 14" deep Drawer Unit.
After assembling and installing my closet, I laid out the drawer fronts in the order they'd be installed in the drawer base.
I taped straight lines 1.5" apart from the next using 3m painters tape, making sure the the lines were tightly taped to the drawer fronts. I used Valspar chalk finish paint so it would adhere to the gloss-finish of the drawer fronts.
After painting over the tape between the lines, I removed the tape while the paint was still slightly wet
Here's my Modular Closet before the painted drawers.... (you can see the double hanging unit on the right, tall hanging on the left, Shelves & Drawers in center.)
... and here are the painted drawers! (I drilled 2 holes for long pulls I plan to replace). Love it!

I love the graphic look......but, I am really curious about the cream and fawn bulldog on wheels you have on a shelf! I love and own English bulldogs and this is an unusual piece you have displayed here. I am admiring the drawers and the bulldog....:0)
