New life for old bench
This is a bench that used to sit in parents old yard. Was looking pretty tired. Had my husband turn it into flower bench. Simply removed seat part and created box. Told him to leave peeling paint& old wood look alone. It's my favorite NEW plantar this year.

I made a sitting bench with bird houses, but like the idea of a rustic flower bench too. Will put this on my "to do" list. Thanks for the inspiration!

@Melody Drinkwater Wagner The bench I built with bird houses looks almost exactly like the one in the post pix, except had a fresh coat of bright red paint. See my other stuff on Etsy.com under Grogeart.
