Ideas For Upcycled Home Decor
I like to use uncommon "junk style" pieces in my home decorating. Some of them actually come from the metal scrap yard! They require just a little bit of cleaning and then they are good to go!
Here are a few examples of how I mix them up with some of my other decor for a nice blend of rustic chic.

An old crate works great for holding wood.
This salvaged rotary hoe takes central stage on our mantel welded on a metal stand.
Old pulleys make great bookends.
This old metal ladder was salvaged as well!

Beautiful old pieces! I see you live in Brighton. I used to live in Canton, MI. I miss Michigan!

I've placed an old ox team yoke at the edge of one side of our patio, so that no one falls off backwards. I'm looking for two more yokes, or something else to place on the long side of the patio.
