I have a wine glass rack above my kitchen sink that I had totally quit using. I was always knocking glasses off and breaking them. I wanted my cast iron pans and frequently used skillets close at hand. Using some very inexpensive twine and shower curtain hooks I had I hung the the pans using the existing wine glass rack.
Suggested materials:
  • Decorative twine or rope. Your choice.
  • Shower curtain hooks, or hooks of your choise

I have really enjoyed having my skillets at arms reach.

I have a wine rack just like that. I think I'm going to do the same thing. But instead of against the wall, I'll hang it above my kitchen island!
