My butterfly koi fish just had about 20 babies. The spotted black is the mama and the yellow is the dad. The gold fish are the room mates. I covered them with a net because a heron ate 23 of my fish the same age as dad and mom.
This is my yellow climbing rose.

In the country where I came from orchids grow on trees and we get them and try to domesticate them. We just put them on a coconut husk wrap it around a lumber or a cut trunk of a tree and hang them outside where it is shady and they thrive like crazy. Over here I was motivated to try to grow them here as they are so beautiful! This is my first year and so far they are doing well. I bought a book on how to care for orchids and I am learning from it and learning from actual handling of the orchids. It's not really hard to grow. You just have to follow the experts on orchids if you don't know about some aspects of orchids. One thing, they don't like too much water and they don't like to be in a standing water. I hope you'll try ...you never know you might be good at it!
