I had always want a kitchen island! Hear it is! Love it! And my hubby helped!
BEFORE....14.99 DRESSER AT GOODWILL
FINISHED...
AFTER PAINT, STAIN AND SOME ELBOW GREASE
ADDED PEG BOARD AND PAPER TOWEL HOLDER. NEXT GONNA ADD SPICE RACK TO OTHER SIDE!

What a nice way to take something old and worn and change it into something functional and pretty! Great job!

I see the project and it's a great idea! I have a small space, I need my microwave to sit on one end, but I've always wanted a granite or something top...did u use spacers for the peg board so u could get the hooks in? I think i would keep all the drawers for storage, just spend the $$ on a decent top...thanks for the ideas!!
