Fall Deco Mesh Wreath Tutorial

I created this pretty fall deco mesh wreath combining two techniques; the pouf and ruffle methods.
I started with this wreath using by using the pouf technique. I used a 21" roll of waffle mesh as my base. I created 13" poufs; meaning I twisted the first end into the wreath form, then measured out 13" of mesh in between each tie.
I continued this on the outer and into the inner ring. I then took three rolls of 10" poly burlap mesh and cut them into 10" lengths. I had one for each twist.
I gathered these 10"x10" squares of poly burlap mesh and scrunched them in the center making a little "butterfly."
I opened up the each twist and inserted the poly burlap ruffle on top of the waffle mesh. I placed one in each twist, alternating colors of mesh.
I cut three different prints of 2.5" ribbon into 13" lengths. I put the gingham print in every twist on top of the poly burlap ruffles and then added the other print ribbon on top of the gingham, alternating the colors.
I added pumpkins, fall leaves, and other embellishments to the wreath along with a big sunflower in the center. For a complete, detailed tutorial, head over to Under a Texas Sky..
