Wild Flowers - a Delight for All Garden Lovers!

Valerie
by Valerie
As a resident of Cape Town, South Africa, at this time of the year wild flowers are blooming along the roads just outside the city.
These flowers are breath-taking, and spread as far as the eye can see. Here are a few photographs for members of the Hometalk community to enjoy.
The orange flowers in the foreground are Watsonias, an indigenous bulb.
There are Arum lilies for miles and miles immediately alongside the road.
The yellow flowers are canola flowers, used in the manufacture of margarine and cooking oil.
Namaqualand daisies
A field of lilac flowers. Unfortunately I do not know the name.
