My Little Dog Found Out She Could Escape Under the Chain Link Fence.

I had to find a cheap solution to the problem & fast.
The edge of the front lawn had grown over, onto the black top on road
I used a flat shovel to loosen the sod. It peeled away easily, in clumps.
I took away 3 wheel barrels.
This a just part of her escape corner, it ran 3 lengths. The gap between the fence and the ground was anywhere from1 to 4 inches.
I layed the clumps in place and packed them down. Problem solved.
The front lawn looks a bit neater, now, with the nice even edge.

I had same issue with my little dog. She likes to dig, so your solution doesn't work for us. We ended up using 12x6 deck boards and set them end to end all along the fence. That was enough to stop her. At the gate, we laid concrete blocks so she couldn't dig under the gate.

Same problem dug down about 3 to 4 inches and interlinked chicken wire fence to the bottom of the chain link fence and works great.
