How To Make Rings -A- Round Pumpkin

Easy
Many of you have seen pumpkins made with canning lid rings, but this one has a slight twist!
I'm showing the finished pumpkin, which is made with approximately 20 mason jar lid rings.
Once you have your rings, spray paint them using Rose Gold Metallic spray paint. I spray painted both sides prior to putting them together. If you try spray painting after, it'll be harder to reach the inside of the pumpkin.
After everything has thoroughly dried, I took a long length of a rusty wire, approximately 24 inches, and strung all the lids on and formed a circle with them. Twist the wire securely to hold them tightly in place. At the same time, bring the excess wire up in the center of the pumpkin.
Take a broken stick and place it in the center of your pumpkin. Once you have everything adjusted and you like how it looks, take the wire that's in the center and wrap it around a thick pencil or pen to give it a curly vine look.

Great way to use rings that have rusted or become discolored. I made some several years ago to bring to our grandchildren. After I painted them orange, I spray painted them with Rust-Oleum glow in the dark paint. In the daytime they "accumulated" light then, at bedtime, the children took them into their rooms to enjoy them before dropping off to sleep. Here's a picture of one of them.
