How to Make Your Own Autumn Boiling Spice

With just a few basic ingredients from your spice cabinet and some citrus, you can create an easy Boiling Spice that when simmered, will fill your home with the scents of Fall.
This 4-ingredient Boiling Spice will fill your home with the scents of Fall.
I use a small vintage, iron skillet - but you can use a small saucepan. (I would recommend a pot or pan that you use just for your boiling spice.)
A handful of whole cloves, 3-4 bay leaves, 2-3 small cinnamon sticks broken up, and 1-2 slices of orange.
Bring to a boil, then turn the heat down to low and let simmer. Refill water as needed. You will LOVE this scent.

Love the idea. Have you tried diffusing essential oils? Much less work and they smell heavenly. https://www.mydoterra.com/oilrecipes

Thank you, I needed this kick in my complacency lol ... this is a great way to use up my aged cloves, leftover cinnamon sticks and renew bay leaves... no need for expensive oils this route
