Pete's yard had a spot where tiger lillies where growing. Some one thought it was a good place to dump rocks. This area was invaded by invasive vines, as weell. -- my memasis! I had to set those Lillies free! ( :
Vine Clumps of roots - white
Deep thick roots - orange
Too many to count
Vine roots VS Lillies saved - Priceless
This yard is a infested by rocks & fill. grrrrrrrrr!

The hard work is done and you were busy and planted them too, so this coming spring you will be rewarded with new growth, followed by a display of flowers. They have to be one of the hardiest flowers. We see then at all the old fallen down homesteads around North America.

They will survive! I don't have a rocky problem but I do need to divide mine. They are so thick that I don't think I will get as many flowers on them. Good luck!
