Pineapple Wallpaper Hack Using The Pineapple Stencil

1 Material
If you are looking for a solution to dress up a boring white wall then you have come to the right spot! The easiest and most affordable possiblity is with paint and a wall pattern. Today we're sharing how simple it is to give an accent wall a tropical wallpaper look using our Pineapple Allover Stencil. Come take a look.
We'd like you to welcome back Greg, one of the Cutting Edge Stencils owners and a creative DIYer. Greg had a white wall that needed some personality. Rather than put up wallpaper, which can be a hassle to install and very expensive, he decided to paint a pretty pattern using a Pineapple wall design.
Let's walk through the steps for completing this project. Greg started with a freshly painted white wall. He decided to use our pineapple wall pattern, the Pineapple Allover Stencil, to create an trendy accent wall.
With his tropical pattern in hand he was ready for the fun part, stenciling! Greg carefully taped the stencil to the wall. He used the clip-on stencil level to ensure the pattern was even on the wall.
Greg made sure he brushed off any excess paint on a piece of paper towel. Too much paint will cause the design to bleed. He painted the pineapple pattern in black using a dense foam roller. Once the entire design was painted, he carefully removed the stencil from the wall to reveal the design.
Since the wall was not complete, Greg lined up the stencil using the interlocking pattern. Our stencil designs make overlapping the previously painted part easy.
After it was lined up and taped to the wall, he continued to paint the pretty pineapple pattern.
When the wall was complete, Greg stepped back to admire the whimsical pattern. Are you ready to go "bananas" over Greg's newly stenciled accent wall? We thought so! Here is his accent wall featuring the Pineapple Stencil.
This hand-painted tropical pattern certainly adds a warm and welcoming feel to this white wall.
