DIY - Non-toxic All Natural Air Freshener

Have you ever read the label of air freshener that you buy in a store? Do you really want to breath all that stuff? Here is an easy and quick alternative to commercial air fresheners. You know how realtors recommend baking cookies before an open house? This is the same concept only you are steeping the ingredients on the stove.
You probably have most of the ingredients you need in your refrigerator, your garden and your yard. Here's what we used: rosemary from the garden, clips of cedar and snips of balsam boughs. We mixed this together in two pots with lemon, lime and bay leaves.
We made two different scents and put them in mason jars. For more detailed information go to our blog: http://livedan330.com/2013/10/03/diy-organic-and-all-natural-air-fresheners/ and don't forget to follow us on Hometalk!
We used Rosemary from the garden.
For evergreens we used Cedar.
We also used balsam for the evergreen scent.
Heating the rosemary and lemon to simmer not a boil.
Here is the cedar, balsam and bay leaves simmering. The kitchen smells great!
The finished product in decorative mason jars.
