My Garden in Summer...

Donna Shipley
by Donna Shipley
There a chill in the air this morning and I can definitely feel Fall in the air, and so many of my plants moving toward dormancy. I thought it might be a good time to share some of the beauty that was Summer... http://sdrv.ms/18aVbaN
Martha Washington Geranium
It took several years to find a spot where a Princess Flower would winter over... but finally success.
Water Lily Crocus one of the last flower to bloom before the official start of Fall.
Shooting Star Hydrangea was pretty but became a snack for the deer.
Hanging Fuchsia
Passion flower vine in the Cascara tree
Smoke from forest fires causing an eerie sunrise.
Turk's Head Lily
So happy to see a few honeybees this summer.
Peruvian daffodil, another of the plants that haven't bloomed for several years. Finally found the right spot.
Even after the fires were out there were some interesting morning skies.
