How to Remove Hairspray Residue

Easy
Hairspray residue and build up is gross and attracts more dirt and hair. You can remove it easily from almost any surface with this simple cleaning solution. Borax and hot water.
Mix a few tablespoons with a few cups of hot water and apply to residue.
The solution should start working immediately. Be sure to rinse the solution off with water afterwards. This cleaner is safe to use on almost any surface, including eye glasses.
I safely removed hairspray buildup from my glasses.

Believe it or not, your everyday shampoo works great! It's what I use all the time. It gets the hairspray out of my hair - it takes it off of everything else.

Baking soda could easily scratch eyeglass lenses. Use plain rubbing alcohol to remove hair spray.
