Repurposed Books Into Unique Coat Rack - Back to School Old School

What's a girl to do when she has too much junk? She teams up with 7 other junkers to crank out some one-of-a-kind creative reuses for junk!
For my project, I turned old books into a unique coat rack. It's such an inexpensive project, because thrift stores carry so many old books for $1 or less, that they usually end up throwing out because they didn't sell. Libraries often give away books their discarded books as well. With just a few coat hooks, screws and a scrap board, anyone can create this.
The fun part is selecting the colors and sizes for your coat rack, but you can paint book covers to match your decor if you can't find the colors you want.
You'll find the full, detailed tutorial at the link below, along with links to all 8 creations from our junk team!
