Thrift Shopping and Help Sheltered Animals Too!

Gathering some local friends for thrift shopping at our Humane Society Thrift Shop turned up the perfect office chair. I added a cover and bit of paint so the style fits in our dining room. Plus a saw blade snowman for fun!
Also gathered Hometalk Blogging friends for a thrift shop blog tour to benefit sheltered animals. Check out the complete blog tour on the website.
My office chair found at the thrift shop for $18
Before. Not my style but it rolls great and is comfy.
Spent 10 for paint drop cloth to cover the chair.
I used a block of wood dipped in paint to add checkerboard pattern.
My blogging buddies.
Saw blades and piece of wood from remade cabinet.
Saw blade snowman. We call him "Miter."
