Our Master Bathroom Remodel

We spent several weeks this summer remodeling our master bathroom. Our bathroom is very large with a cathedral ceiling, built in closets, and a separate toilet and shower room.
We had done some cosmetic changes over the years but they were wearing thin and the carpet was way past needing to be replaced.

We gutted the room and tiled the floor with a marble-looking porcelain tile. We added a free-standing French vanity, venetian mirrors and a claw foot slipper tub.
A barn door separates the master bedroom from the bathroom.
With additions of a chandelier and wall sconce, the result is clean, bright and romantic.
We also redid the attached toilet and shower room.
The double shower was done with the same faux marble tile, all set on a diagonal. We put a rain head on one side and a hand shower on the other.
A simple shelf is perfect for soap and other products.
