A UNIQUE, super easy and quick project to create the perfect centerpiece and candle holder for your thanksgiving or holiday table scape! It is also a great project to do with the kids.
Collect all your supplies - white glue, acrylic paint, the votive you want to paint. Also get a paper plate and brush.
Dab on the white glue. Make sure it is thick enough so the entire surface is white. Let it dry for 5 minutes till there a thin skin on the glue.
Slowly dab on the acrylic paint. Be careful not to disturb the skin of the white glue. Let it dry undisturbed overnight.
I have a FULL step by step video to show you exactly how I made these. Take a look at it! Isn't this a super awesome effect? I used fall colors but you could make these with any color scheme you like!
Do you know you could use this technique on furniture too? I gave a fun and unique makeover to an Ikea dresser using this exact technique.
